In comparasion with 2008 the exhibition venue area has not increased but at the same time the number of participants has not reduced, and it is nice to notice that despite the economic situation we have new companies-manufacturers that joined us this year.
More than 2000 people have visited the exhibition, among them 60% were specialists and 40% retail customers.
Starting this year according to numerous requests from our participants the exhibition was open not for specialists only, but also for general public.

The 4th exhibition of headwear and accessories Wholesale Season CHAPEAU-2009 has finished its work. The exhibition was held on April 23-26 at All Russia Exhibition Centre (VVC) in the pavilion 69.
More than 70 companies from Russia, Italy, Ukraine and Belorus have participated in the show. The Wholesale Season traditionaly gave specialists an opportunity to meet and discuss new collections, potentials and problems of the industry, find right decision for further work between manufacturers and wholesale buyers. Headwear for all seasons have been presented: hats, berets, panamas, fur hats, caps, headscarves. Fur and leather semi-ready products.
The crisis is dictating its own conditions, but not many people are ready to give up their habbits including headwear. The exhibition has demonstrated that both casual and designer range headwear are still demanded by customers.
For specialists a round table discussion organized by the Association of headwear and garments accessories manufacturers has been held within the bounds of the exhibition. |
