Wholesale Season-2006 – Results

   On May 17-19, 2006 in pavilion 57 at All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VVC) in Moscow all-Russia forum Wholesale Season CHAPEAU-2006 and Fur Seminars Days in Moscow-2006 were held for the first time. Joint project of Russian exhibition company KORDON (Moscow) and Myagkoe Zoloto (“Soft Gold”) Publishing House (Moscow) was a meeting of trade representatives with headgear manufacturers as well as with specialists in fur and leather industry.

   More than 100 companies participated in the joint event organized for the first time; about 2000 guests – wholesale and retail representatives from Moscow, 118 Russian cities, as well as from CIS and foreign countries visited the forum for three days.

   The business agenda of the exhibition was rather intense. Commercial showings of headgear and accessories new collections of 2006-2007 season were held for two days on the central podium. Fur and leather semi-finished products, new collections of fur, leather, felt, velour, straw and knitted hats were presented to the audience.

   Training programme of the Fur Seminars Days in Moscow has covered a wide range of subjects: from the sales strategies, tax planning and production organization to new technologies of fur processing, semi-finished products identification and complex manufacturing process automation.

   Based on the questionnaire poll results, responses of the guests and participants have surpassed the most bold expectations of the organizers.

Thus the event’s goal has been successfully achieved.

Such an exhibition is the only one on the world, it is necessary for both - young and experienced manufacturers. Future is behind it. It should be just the way it is: prestigious, festive and only at Gostiny Dvor. Cultural programme of the exhibition, parties, receptions unite participants. We find friends and business partners, then we exchange with phone calls, meet each other, help each other.
Wholesale Season is a good thing to do. We need this closed meeting with wholesalers to be able to get ready for the season in time. The one who had got an order earlier is the one who sewed the products in time, you know…”

“… Business agenda of the Wholesale Season-2006 was so intense (training seminars, showings) that we even did not have enough time to visit everything. It would be nice to get more information about plan of events holding. After “CHAPEAU” we don’t stop accepting orders. This means that the exhibition’s dates have been chosen correctly….”

“… Everything is on time and convenient. For both parties. We know which vein to work in, offer our products. Wholesalers have an opportunity to discuss, direct us.
